Very well received among visitors, the exhibition features 51 garments by the eponymous designer and has been seen by near sold out crowds since the Museum reopened.

The exhibition, presented by Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, is a historical showcase of “creations of the first decade of the haute couture house of Dior, created by the famous French couturier Christian Dior.”. The designs of the original master of his namesake fashion house, Christian Dior himself, will be coming to the McCord Museum for a major exhibition. From June 11 to September 23, the exhibit will focus on Christian Dior's designs that helped revive the world of haute couture after World War II. As such, I am thrilled that the McCord Museum will be hosting the Christian Dior exhibit from September 25, 2020, to January 3, 2021. The exhibit features the work of the famed haute couture house from its inception in 1947 to the designer’s death in 1957.
